Just a quick entry tonight as I’m in the midst of one of the Yava Pod tours, more about them later, and am constantly being… distracted. [Ooh! What th’? That was…
different.]
Anyway, this year Virtual Ability have set out an exhibit that, while simple, I think can still get us thinking about how, for many of the people we see around us, life may not be as simple as it seems. What’s more, this exhibit is just perfect for me. I get to run around a park pressing people’s buttons! (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SLB%20Captivate/188/140/23)
When you touch a button, the hidden disability of the subject will be explained. About half the people in the park have some form of disability that is not obvious.
Meanwhile, I’m proud that I have spent very little so far this year. True, I haven’t darkened the Shop & Hop’s doors yet, but still. Even more amazing, I haven’t flooded my inventory with gifts. I’m being very choosy and snobbish this year. (Ok, it is possible I have more than one… or two SL18B balloons which I’m sure will come in handy some time in the future.)
