I’ve sneaked into the camp in Khumbala. It’s a nice quiet spot to write for a little while… if only the snek would stop staring at me so hungrily.
In Glimmering Meadows, I find exactly what the description promised. It’s essentially a shallow stream bordered by flowery meadows which flows in a broad loop through the regions. The shops line its sides in tent like pavilions.

If you are not a flying or swimming creature, you will want to put your wellies on for this one. Or you can pick up one of the folded paper boats that can be found around the region. I opted for the latter as I didn’t think the waterproof boots would look quite the right thing with my gown.
The main landing area is a large platform elevated well above anything else in the region. A long staircase, whose steps look as if they were built for giants, descends to the riverside. Right across from there is where you will find the sponsor’s shop, Jinx.
The shops in this region are the easiest to find of any so far. In fact, navigation here is simplicity itself; just follow the loop of the river.
